Eric & Dana are the top team in the final week of the season
Although they didn't toss any perfect games or instant wins, Eric Klavoon & Dana Misenheimer ended the season with a first place finish, going 12-4 on the final night. Even though they tied with Phil Schneider & LeeAnn Greenauer who also went 12-4, Eric & Dana won the head-to-head tiebreaker by winning the series against Phil & LeeAnn, two games to one. They also managed to not kick any cans all season! The first place finish marked Eric's 7th of the season, tying a league record set by Josh Greenauer in the league's second and third season.
No instant wins were thrown in the final week; however, three teams managed to throw a perfect game. These teams were Phil Schneider & LeeAnn Greenauer, Bob Bowers & TJ Burns, and Josh Greenauer & Scott Silverman.
Three teams competed in 8 overtime games, exactly half of their 16 total games played on the night. These teams were Eric & Dana, Adam Williams & Kenny Campbell, and Josh & Scott. Both Eric & Dana and Adam & Kenny had 5 overtime wins for the week.
For the first time in league history in 6 seasons, there was a 4-way tie. Four teams tied for third place in the final week with a record of 8-8. Since head-to-head play could not correctly determine placement, all four teams competed in a shootout. In the shootout, each team had three rounds of throws to score as many points as possible. Adam & Kenny scored 16 points to land 3rd place, Bob & TJ scored 14 points for 4th, Josh & Scott got 13 points for 5th, and Alex Reinecke & Dan Klavoon scored 10 points for 6th place.
The highlight game of the week took place between Phil & LeeAnn and Alex & Dan. In their first game of the series against each other, Alex & Dan defeated Phil & LeeAnn in 6 overtime rounds to claim the hard fought victory.
