THREE-PEAT!!  Eric Klavoon wins 3rd consecutive league title

2010-2011 (Season 6) - League champion :: Eric Klavoon finishes in first place overall in the random draw league in Buffalo, NY. This is the 3rd consecutive league title for Eric, and 4th overall in the six seasons of the indoor league.
2010-2011 Buffalo, NY League Champion
Eric Klavoon
126-50

For the third season in a row and 4th time in the six seasons of the league, Eric Klavoon wins the Buffalo, NY random draw KanJam League.  It was a battle of the brothers all season, as Eric claimed the title once again after recording another first place finish in the final week.  Eric recorded 7 first place finishes in the 11 week season, tying a league record.  He accumulated his 126 wins with 8 different partners over the course of the season.  Dan Klavoon stayed close, as the brothers finished number one and two overall, without getting paired up once all season.

In addition, Eric and Dan are the only players to record at least 100 wins in all six seasons of the league.  Previously, both Bob and Josh Greenauer had at least 100 wins in the first five seasons; however, both players fell short this season.  Bob Greenauer barely missed the 100 win mark yet again, recording 99 wins this season.

For the majority of the season, Bob Greenauer held the third place spot overall.  However, on the final night, a 4-way tie at 8-8 forced a 3-round, total points shootout between the tied teams.  In the shootout, Adam Williams and his Week 11 partner, Kenny Campbell, scored the most points in the shootout.  In doing so, Adam edged Bob by just one point to take the third place spot in the overall standings.

In another close finish for 5th place overall, Phil Schneider and Josh Greenauer tied in points with 132.  Since Phil played two less weeks than Josh, head-to-head record for the season determined the tiebreaker.  In addition to having a better winning percentage, Phil posted a 12-7 head-to-head record against Josh in league play, which places him at 5th overall.  Rounding out the remaining top 10 are LeeAnn Greenauer (7th), TJ Burns (8th), Dana Misenheimer (9th), and Scott Silverman (10th).  In fact, Dana's first place finish in the final night moved him up from 12th to 9th, to land a spot in the top 10.

Four players tied for the league lead this season in instant wins. Josh Greenauer, Dana Misenheimer, LeeAnn Greenauer, and Alex Reinecke all tossed two instant wins over the course of the 11-week season.  Other players that tossed instant wins were Bob Greenauer, John Coles, and Andy Evans.

In the perfect game department, Eric Klavoon once again led this category, throwing 20 perfect games, just shy of his own record from last season (22).  Tied for second with 13 perfect games was Dan Klavoon and Josh Greenauer.  Bob Greenauer threw 11 on the season, while three others tossed 10 (Phil Schneider, TJ Burns, and Dana Misenheimer).

This was undoubtedly one of the toughest seasons of the league.  There were no pair-ups that went undefeated or even just one loss in any week.  In fact, the best weekly performance was by Eric Klavoon & Tim Klavoon in Week 4, when they went 14-2.  The winning team each week recorded a much lower average of wins than in previous seasons, confirming how close and competitive this season was.  There was also a record number of overtime games played.

New records were set regarding overtime games and wins.  Josh Greenauer set a new mark with 72 overtime games played.  This means, 41% of his games played went to overtime.  Now that's a lot of KanJam!  Dan got just a enough overtime wins on the last night to set a new mark of 39 overtime wins in a season.

The longest game played this season happened on Week 4.  In a game featuring Adam Williams & Josh Greenauer vs Bob Greenauer & Kim Daugherty, it took 7 overtime rounds before Bob & Kim eventually won.  That's like playing two full games of KanJam.  A victory well deserved!  The longest game ever in league history took 9 overtime rounds to complete.  This game happened in the 4th season of the league, between Eric Klavoon & Dan Klavoon and Phil Schneider & LeeAnn Greenauer.  This game was won by Eric & Dan in the 9th round of OT.
