Bob and Bob walk away number one in Week 2
Bob Bowers and Bob Greenauer recorded a number one finish in Week 2, ending the night with a 12-4 record. Although they tied with Dan Klavoon & Adam Williams at 12-4, Bob & Bob won the head-to-head matchup to stay on top. Of their 12 victories, 7 of them were in overtime, including a 4-overtime game against Dana Misenheimer & Nate Schutt.
Leading the pack with perfect games this week was Eric Klavoon & LeeAnn Greenauer with three. Phil Schneider & Tim Klavoon also recorded two perfect games as well. The first instant win of the season was thrown by Dana Misenheimer in a game against TJ Burns & Josh Tonn.
In a epic game that went to 5-overtime rounds, Josh Greenauer & Kim Daugherty defeated second-place finishers, Dan Klavoon & Adam Williams. In overtime, both teams matched perfect buckets through 4 rounds, and Josh & Kim ultimately won the game in the 5th overtime round with double buckets. In a very rare occurrence, the league saw it's very first tip into the slot. The feat was done by Josh Greenauer in a game against Alex Reinecke & Scott Silverman. Unfortunately, the shot actually put Josh & Kim over 21 points which ended up costing them the game.
Week 2 was very competitive; every team walked away with at least 5 wins, with the number one team at 12 wins. Also, every team played in at least three overtime games. Bob Bowers & Bob Greenauer led the league this week with 8 overtime games played out of 16.
In the overall standings, Dan Klavoon and Bob Greenauer are locked in a tie for first place, with the same record of 22-10. This marks Dan's first time in the top spot in the overall standings. Only one point behind them is Eric Klavoon at 21-11. At 4th and 5th place are Adam Williams (31 points) and LeeAnn Greenauer (30 points) to make up the top 5.
